Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Drywall Finisher to join our growing construction company. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for preparing drywall surfaces for painting or wallpapering by taping and finishing joints, smoothing surfaces, and ensuring a flawless finish.

Responsibilities:

• Tape and finish drywall joints using a variety of hand and power tools
• Apply joint compound to seams and screw holes, and smooth the surface with trowels, knives, or sandpaper
• Prepare surfaces for painting or wallpapering by sanding
• Repair damaged drywall as needed
• Follow safety guidelines and regulations while working on construction sites
• Communicate with project managers and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required specifications

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Drywall Finisher, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience
• Strong knowledge of drywall installation and finishing techniques, including taping, mudding, and sanding
• Familiarity with various types of joint compounds and their application processes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
